Nexon Announces Four NFT Projects Utilizing "Maple Story".

NET projects utilizing "Maple Story" were announced at the Nexon Developers Conference keynote speech.

Nexon announced four NFT projects: "Maple Story N", "MOD N", "Maple Story N Mobile", and "Maple Story N SDK". The project, dubbed "Maple Story Universe," will see multiple games in the "Maple Story Universe" share the same Maple Story NFT.

"Maple Story N" will be a new MMORPG incorporating NFT and blockchain technology into "Maple Story". Items acquired through gameplay will be able to be converted to NFT.

In addition, "Maple Story N" will not sell NFT items; all items will be acquired through gameplay. Users will be able to trade with each other, and Nexon will earn a transaction fee. This is similar to "Night Story," another Korean blockchain game. In this type of game, items are synthesized using materials dropped during gameplay, and items with high rarity can be traded as NFT.

"MOD N" is a blockchain game production sandbox platform that allows for easy development between PC and mobile. All games created on "MOD N" will be owned by their creators.

"Maple Story N SDK" is an SDK that allows users to create various applications utilizing NFTs acquired in Maple Story Universe.

"Maple Story N Mobile" will be a project aimed at bringing the character NFT played in "Maple Story N" to mobile devices.

"Maple Story N" is designed to comprehensively handle blockchain games using NFTs to be announced by Nexon in the future, and "Maple Story Universe" will create an ecosystem that can be integrated with external NFTs and projects in the future.
